Ring of Knives (Dead Man #2) ReviewI never claimed to be quick, so I'm going to do a little explanation here for any newcomers:
This is book 2 of a series called The Dead Man. The first one was The Dead Man: Face of Evil and the second one is The Dead Man: Ring of Knives. There is a third one on the way... And you're going to end up reading all three and any more that come out. Why? Because they're really good! It's almost like a TV series and since some of these guys wrote for popular TV shows, that's not a surprise. I'm already picturing Jeffery Dean Morgan as Matt, and enjoying that view. ^.^
I don't usually read novellas or short stories because they generally stink. In this day and age, people tend to forget that its a well-done genre with many contributions from masters and icons of writing. You really got to be good to do this genre justice.
Well, these guys are thriller-on-the-edge-of-your-seat good. I was a little concerned at different authors contributing to the same story, but the storytelling is seamless.
