Moleskine Folio Professional Binder Reviewlike all the previous reviews said, the binder is three ring, rather then "two" and more suited for 8.5" X 11". I bought the dividers along with it and they don't even measure to A4 size. They would fall short of any A4 sized paper in length. Even the Moleskine website gives dimensions for A4 size and shows a 2 ring binder. So I don't know what the deal is. Maybe some sort of product inventory mix up.
I'm not basing my rating or my review on the afore mentioned issues. I read the reviews and thanks to them I knew what I would receive. So I will review it on what it actually is. But I will have to say, if you plan on filing A4 sized documents this folder is not a good option.
As a 3 ring binder it is nice. Simple, elegant and durable, quality wise it is comparable to my other Moleskine products.
The pocket works well and comes in handy for storing something that does not have holes punched. Like all Moleskine products the simple elastic band does it's job well.
It is much more expensive then almost any other three ring binder out there, but If you plan on using it for something that needs to hold up for to years of use, then I think it will pay for it's several times over.
A note on the Moleskine dividers. They are nice and they add a second expandable pocket to your binder, (which I wanted). They come with adhesive labels for the tabs, BUT the labels are wider and longer then the tabs on the dividers and unless you cut them down or paste them on and fold them over where they overlap, they don't really fit. (I tried both ways and it didn't work well and looked terrible.) I'll rate and review the tabs on their own, but I thought since they get offered as a package deal that a note on them would be appropriate.
Also, if you plan on using plastic page protectors, (I use them because I can't punch holes in most of what I file in the binder). Know that the extra width will almost completely obscure the tabs. Had the dividers been .5" wider it would have worked perfectly.Moleskine Folio Professional Binder Overview
