Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Ring of Fire ReviewDespite the cover and the back cover, the main characters of this story is Buffy and Drusilla with Angelus and Spike backing up their main squeeze. Dru's new demon boyfriend is consolidating power and decided to show his "affection" by eliminating the Slayer. Which places Angelus and Spike as third wheels - either support Dru by destroying Buffy or eliminate their rival for Dru's attention. A difficult decision for Angelus who wants that joy for himself. So if you were looking for the major confrontation between Angelus and Buffy, buy a copy of the video. But if you're looking for a good story within the time period that most of the writers of the books avidly avoid, pick this up.
