Circle Quilts: Create Dramatic Medallions from Strip-Pieced Rings ReviewToday, I am writing a review of Circle Quilts by Colleen Granger. This is a really fun book. I opened Circle Quilts and became excited about it right away! The quilts in this book look very difficult to make and sew, but these quilts are mostly about paper-piecing layers, which are then stitched together. Granger is very thorough with her writing. She tells her readers about fabric choosing, making the patterns, sewing the layers together, borders, finishing the quilts and much more. My favorite pattern is Labyrinth, which uses many small pieces together. I love making postage stamp quilts from 1 1/2" pieces of fabric, and Labyrinth contains both the paper-piecing element and the challenge of using tiny pieces to make a quilt. If you are a paper-piecer, or a new quiltier who is willing to take on a challenge, you will especially enjoy Circle Quilts!
