The Magician's Ring (Forgotten Forest, Book 2) Review--Characters--
Well developed.
--Artwork--
Artwork is clearly of much higher quality than the "Choose your own adventure" books. Some of the artwork is fascinating and almost hypnotizing. However, I wish there was a little more artwork due this gamebook is rather text-heavy.
--Story--
ENDINGS:

The endings are very well worded.
CHOICES/PATHS:
The paths are very long :)
One of the main paths is a slight let-down compared to the other paths because Mevar is not as powerful.
CONS:
* One problem with this book is that at times, there are 2 or more pages of full text, which was a little tiring to read. I admit that the descriptions were very detailed, but I had to concentrate more than I usually do for a "Choose your adventure" type book in order to absorb all the details being presented. More pictures would have made the reading a little less straining.
--Conclusion--
I can't say that the main plot hooked me to keep reading, but it is worth a read for the long paths. This is also one of the few "choose your adventure" type books that involve magic and mystical creatures that I know of.The Magician's Ring (Forgotten Forest, Book 2) Overview
