A Baker's Recipe Keeper: An Organizer for Your Favorite Desserts and Breads ReviewA Baker's Recipe Keeper: An Organizer for Your Favorite Desserts and Breads
I bought this recipe keeper for my daughters Grandma. Grandma is an amazing baker that gives any store bought item a run for the money. A particular German sweet bread that she made prior to the holidays to be sent off to her Grandson Mike who is over sees serving his country was soooooo amazing I told her I wanted the recipe. She told me it was a very old family recipe. She made more of this delicious bread 2 weeks later were she invited me to watch her bake. I was honored. When she brought out this small faded barley readable piece of paper I was scared. Really, I thought don't spill anything on it this yummy timeless recipe it will be gone forever. So I jumped my computer that night and found the Baker's Recipe Keeper on Amazon. It was an Awesome Christmas gift! She told me she stayed up until 4 in in the morning organizing copying and sorting the hundreds of recipes she has accumulated in her 75 years of life. Well now we can rest easy for Grandma's recipes will live on for many generations to come.A Baker's Recipe Keeper: An Organizer for Your Favorite Desserts and Breads Overview

Bon Appetit Recipe Organizer ReviewI can print, organize and store all my recipes in this binder. It comes with clear plastic sheets to keep splatters from marring the recipes. The book bends so you can stand it up and refer to it while cooking. There are several additional recipes and tips included with the book and a wonderful index system. This is a must have for the busy cook.Bon Appetit Recipe Organizer Overview

Cath Kidston Recipe Organizer ReviewAfter I got married, I started cooking and accumulating recipes. I needed a way to get organized! This recipe organizer was just the thing I needed. Since is basically a glorified three ring binder, I am able to print recipes off the internet and just put them under the appropriate tab. Each tab is also a folder for random recipes that you cut out or find. It is a great product that I would definitely recommend. After seeing mine, my mom asked me for one. It would be an excellent wedding gift.Cath Kidston Recipe Organizer Overview

Recipe Keeper ReviewThis is exactly what I was looking for. A three ring binder with 8 folders tabs where on the back side is a pocket to store recipes that you clipped, 80 pages of blank pages for you to write your recipes, and 20 plastic adhesive pages that you can save recipes that other people gave you in their own handwritten or type recipes. On the blank pages, it says Recipe then the next line its says, from.the the next line is servings then the next line is preparation time and the last line is cooking time. Then you list the ingredients on the left and you write down the directions on the right side. On the lower bottom, you can add any notes. Very nicely set up. I definitely need more than 80 pages of blank pages, so what I did was, I took one of the blank pages and copy it on the copying machine and makes lots of extra pages. Punch the holes and slip it right in the recipe keeper. I've taken labels and place it over some of the tabs because I don't need some of the catagories that they had and I wanted to break down my baking recipes, so that i could sort out the cookies, cakes and pie section. I got three of these as I plan to make triplets copies and hand 2 of them down to my children as gifts. I highly recommend this if you are looking to store your recipes and have it in an organized fashion. The binder is good quality.
UPDATE: 09/20/2009
Still using this to date and keeps every recipe organized. I now have 2. Have no problems with the binder rings as they are still closing and opening with no problem. I still recommend this to every cook/baker.Recipe Keeper Overview
