The Ring Went Zing: A Story That Ends With a Kiss ReviewI usually don't like cumulative tales. You know, the ones that keep adding things, and adding things, and adding things... They are most often too long to make effective read alouds and I get tired of reading them just as the kids get tired of listening to them. This one is a standout exception. This is a great length for story time and the action is hilarious from the beginning all the way to the end. There's just so much going on and the story flows so well that the kids don't get tired of listening and I don't find myself hurrying through to the end just to get it over with. The illustrations are busy and engaging. These are some really funny animals and the expressions on their faces tell a lot of the story themselves. This is a resounding success both for illustrations and writing.The Ring Went Zing: A Story That Ends With a Kiss Overview
