The Labrador of the Rings (The Barking Mad Tale of a Teenage Werewolf) ReviewThe Labrador of the Rings (awesome title) picks up where Tale of Two Shitzus left off. Jackson is trying to lead Cam and Whit away and has to leave Cassie in the process. Cassie and the pack are still running themselves ragged between school, training and running perimeters. Things start to get a little suspicious when Jackson begins to act weird on the phone and through his telecommunication with Cassie. But who is there to console her? Of course, it's my favorite character in this series......Conner. This installment was non-stop action and suspense. It was a fast read and left me wanting the next book to see what happens!!!The Labrador of the Rings (The Barking Mad Tale of a Teenage Werewolf) OverviewCrossport, Idaho is a small town with a big secret. For many centuries the secluded city has been guarded by a group of werewolves who are sworn to keep humans safe. The job of a werewolf is never done. As long as evil exists it is up to the good guys to keep the world out of danger. The supernatural world is crawling with threatening beings with no regard for human life.Cassie Hill and her rambunctious family are faced with a new threat and a brewing war. Cassie attempts to deal with old foes returning, a long distance relationship, and new challenges that push the Lupos to their limits. The beginning of an epic battle between good and evil has the odds stacked against them, but they refuse to give up.In an action packed world of vampires, werewolves, witches, and hybrids the Lupos waver through their troubles like any other family. By sticking together. Throughout their tedious duties they still find a way to enjoy life, whether it's having philosophical conversations or putting out accidental fires caused by smiley face pancakes. All of your favorite characters return in the third installment of the Barking Mad Werewolves series in which the pack begins to grow up in their own right. It is a tale with a little bit of Romeo and Juliet, a smidgen of Star Wars, and a ton of barking mad werewolves.

The Wolf Hunger (The Wolf Ring Series) ReviewThis was an exciting read. The author did a great job of creating believable, likeable characters. The narrator pays a lot of attention to detail, like the emotions and facial expressions of the characters. This was also evident in the subtle ways they express themselves. Another thing I liked is that there is an outside element - the ring - which adds suspense and mystery to the story. I also like that the action was divided into chapters, rather than one long one(as I've seen in some online erotic novellas). It made you want to go to the next chapter to see what happens next. Great job. Look forward to reading more from this author. The Wolf Hunger (The Wolf Ring Series) Overview

The Wolf Ring (an erotic/erotica paranormal romance) ReviewNo SPOILERS or plot summaries. Recommendations included.
HIGH LEVEL: This is a short story that reads like the opening chapters of an over-dramatized paranormal romance. There was some magic: magical ring, legend of werewolves come to life in a whimsical way. Overall, however, it was pretty unsatisfying.
SEXUAL CONTENT: While it is labeled as "erotic" - there was really only one scene of lust and it was just OK. It was sexy in a desperate kind of way, but felt incomplete.
PLOT & CHARACTERS: Not really much plot and the story was so short that pacing was irrelevant. Mostly this was just incomplete. It read like a vignette, not a story. The characters were undeveloped, though the man was intriguing. It might have been fun to get to know him better through a longer story.
BOTTOM LINE: This story is one word: HARMLESS. Nothing really to it, but nothing terribly against it except that it was too short. If this had been developed into a real book, it might have turned out to be "just ok." As it is, though- not worth reading.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
1. Vivian Arend's Wolf Signs: Granite Lake Wolves, Book 1 fun, light were-romance series
2. Vivian Arend's Tidal Wave: Forces of Nature, Book 1- with frolicking dolphins
3. Dana Marie Bell's Dare to Believe (The Gray Court) - sexy, humorous para-romance with all manner of fae: Sidhe, dragons, leprechauns, vampires and more
4. Kresley Cole's slightly more adventurous and intricate magical romance series (never mind the ridiculous title): A Hunger Like No Other (Immortals After Dark, Book 1)
5. Jacquelyn Frank's Jacob (The Nightwalkers, Book 1) - demons, were, vamps and other fae finding their better halves in races that should be the enemy
6. Marie Harte's Rachel's Totem - lighter, less developed para-erotica featuring a variety of shifters in a quirky little town
7. Moira Rogers' basic werewolf romance series: Cry Sanctuary: Book 1 of Red Rock Pass series
8. Moira Rogers' magically diverse romance series Crux: Southern Arcana, Book 1
9. Nalini Singh's Slave to Sensation (Psy-Changelings, Book 1) - romance series which features weres and psychics, but also carries plotlines with some substance
10. Sydney Somers' gargoyle spin on romance: Primal Hunger: Pendragon Gargoyles, Book 1The Wolf Ring (an erotic/erotica paranormal romance) OverviewWhen Conner gives his girlfriend an antique ring, things between them get unexpectedly... wild.Warnings: Explicit sex, blunt languageLength: Short story (7200 words)
