The Use and Complexity of Sex Magic ReviewI loved this book.It drew me in and I didn't want to leave this world. The women characters were strong and well developed, the hero was hot! Loved the sex magic scenes.
Norfarland's adventures were funny and I loved the way it all tied together in the end. If you like romantic fantasy, this is definitely one you don't want to miss.

volume of cartographic drawings of the routes taken by Frodo Baggins and the other members of the fellowship.
The maps are highly consistent and creative regarding Middle-earth topography and environmental realties.
Moon phases,rest stops,camping sites and important occurrences within the journey are all marked and noted
for a complete picture of the path's taken to destroy the ring of power and the struggle to save
Middle-earth.
This work contains fifty-one maps with detailed but brief(a usual page long) descriptions of the
country traversed , corresponding dates and text from novel for background and
footnoted for reference. This an impressive book allowing the reader to fully
inhabit and trace the epic journey of the company of nine in a relatively compact
collection to compliment Tolkien's own volumes. Though the author concentrates her
work depicted in THE LORD OF THE RINGS she has consulted and referenced for clarity
sake THE HOBBIT,UNFINISHED TALES and other Middle -Earth related material to
ensure a fuller account of said maps and drawings. Undoubtedly comparison's can
be made with another volume of cartographic pieces depicting J.R.R Tolkien's
creation;The Atlas of Middle- earth by Karen Wynn Fonstad, however this much larger
book covers a broader spectrum within Tolkien's sub -created world through
the ages and changes in the spheres. Ms Fonstad is a professional cartographer and her volume
shows it , Ms.Strachey is not a professional in the that field but her work while not as refined
a other is in my opinion can stand alongside the larger especially in regards to what it

The Ring of Five ReviewExcellent book. I bought this book thinking it was an adult book. When I found out it was a young-adult book i was kinda dismayed but figure 'heck, i paid for it, im gonna read it.' And thank God I did! It was very exciting and keep moving right from the beginning. I hate books that take 15 chapters to explain the character and premises for stories but this book explains it all AS you go along.
If your a Christian (which I am) you have to look past all the mythical angelic stuff in this book. Its purely fiction people and no need to get upset saying its not accurate about angels and seraphim etc etc.
I feel this book ranks up there with Harry Potter in the mythical-thriller category. No gore, language, sex or descriptive violence. Great for parents and teens.The Ring of Five Overview

The Fifth Ring ReviewThe Fifth Ring is a fun read. Its pacing is fast and the sparse dialogue and storytelling aids the flow.
Perhaps most intriguing is the book's premise: a boy finds a magical ring that gives him powers -- but instead of being truly magical -- and thus not needing explanation -- the ring is actually a remnant of high technology from a civilization lost eons ago in an apocalyptic war. Furthering this premise is Graham's admirable attempt to make the ring scientifically limited. The wielder of a ring can only manipulate energy, and is limited by his knowledge of the physical world. There are many examples provided in the book, but the incident where King Karas's sister kills a man by stopping his heart illustrates the concept well: not only did the sister have to know what a heart looked like, she also had to understand how it functioned. She stops the man's heart by imagining the heart and then constricting its major valves. Unfortunately, this great concept was carried only halfheartedly and Graham dropped science for plot device.The Fifth Ring Overview

Creatures of The Two Towers (The Lord of the Rings Movie Tie-In) ReviewAlthough this is the official movie guide for children to the Two Towers, I found that it was helpful for adults who are not Lord of the Rings fans and/or have not read any of the books by Tolkien. It is lushly illustrated with gorgeous photos of all of the people/creatures in The Fellowship of the Ring and The Two Towers. There are also a few photos of how they developed CGI characters such as the cave troll and Sauron. Underneath each photograph is a sentence or two explaining who the person/creature is and how they fit into the story. The wording and the brevity of the descriptions make it perfect for younger readers or those looking for a quick and dirty introduction to the characters of Middle Earth including Hobbits, Ents, Easterlings, Haradrim, Uruk-Hai, Gollum, the Watcher in the Water, Dwarves, Elves, Wizards/Istari, Balrog, Gwaihir, and many more. The book also comes with a free fold out enlarged picture of Gandalf confronting the Balrog in Moria. I would recommend this book for those who are not very familiar with The Lord of the Rings trilogy and for children ages 8 and up. It is very short at app. 60 pages (most of which is taken up by pictures) and so is a great introduction. It has all of the good facts about the folks in the three LOTR films...and it even backtracks to give us a little bit of history prior to the legendary War of the Ring. Of course, this is all done from a military/war aspect...which makes it even better! The illustrations are wonderful....the pictures are delightful and pleasing to the eye. The prose is not written for children...but it is not written in such a difficult language that a person with limited reading comprehension may not be able to understand it. Trying to figure out a way to get him to read more, I started purchasing the Young Samurai series as they come out and he's been devouring them. I have to admit, I have to.
